Dr. Nitu Mandke Charitable Organisation was created in loving memory and a tribute to one of the greatest heart surgeons in the world. Dr. Nitu Mandke. He was charismatic man with a multifaceted personality. He was a born artist, an incredible athlete, a true patriot and magnanimous philanthropist.
In the 19 years since Dr. Mandke left this world prematurely, his wife Dr. Alka Mandke has continued his philanthropic work with the same passion and perseverance. She was the President of Keshav Srushthi for two terms in which she met, connected recognised and supported many charitable and social movements and organisations that are doing a great service for the people of India. In 2020 when the Pandemic threw the whole world into chaos, the Mandke Family undertook the mammoth task of helping in fighting COVID 19 through many programs directed towards, patients, hospitals and healthcare workers. An idea of an honest philanthropic organisation took seed.

All Indians have access not only to quality standard healthcare in illness without pushing them into poverty, but also to primary prevention of diseases; that every child gets an education, academic and physical including the skills to procure a job which affords them respect and dignity; and an ability to dream.
MISSION
Our mission is to provide assistance in physical and mental healthcare needs of extremely resource constrained Indians, basic education including academic, physical and vocational skills.
Mandar Mandke
Mandar Mandke is an avid traveler, adventurer and entrepreneur. He is an Ironman 70.3 finisher, has Cycled from Manali to Leh and played professional tennis in school. A certified scuba diver and a NLP master practitioner, mandar loves working with children and has conducted many experiential learning programs in various fields like team building, adventure, environment, astronomy and farming for school children of all ages
Jui Mandke
Dr Jui Mandke is a Consultant Pediatric Surgeon in Mumbai, specially proficient in
laparoscopic surgery and surgery on very tiny babies.
She is attached to Surya Hospitals,
Holy Family hospital, Saifee Hospital and Breach Candy Hospital.
She has many publications
to her name and has authored many chapters in Surgical textbooks.
Charuta Mandke
She is an Associate Professor and Head, Department of Ophthalmology, H. B. T. Medical College & Dr. R. N. Cooper Municipal Hospital, Mumbai. She is a surgeon and teacher of undergraduate and postgraduate Ophthalmology. She is a founder member of Mumbai Dhadkan and a director of two other NGOs. Her special interests lie in welfare of healthcare workers and primary healthcare of marginalised communities.
Alka Mandke
She is a well known Cardiac Anaesthesiologist and Hon. Head of Department,
Anaesthesia, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai. She has won many awards including the IACTA lifetime achievement award. She is a celebrated author of
many books, including Hridayasha which has run into 20 reprints. She has been on the
boards of innumerable NGOs and has been Ex-chairperson of the prestigious Keshav Srushti initiative where she has served with passion and zeal.
